About Me

I’ve  been  reading  and  writing  since  I  was  a  little  girl,  wanting  to  attend  Mallory  Towers  or  join  the  Babysitters  Club.  I‘d  write  stories,  poems  and  plays  about  the  heartbreaks  and  injustices  of  the  day.  I  never  stopped.  I  completed  a  journalism  degree  and  quickly  fell  into  the  world  of  politics.  I  wrote  articles,  speeches  and  press  releases  from  Brussels  to  Lebanon  and  have  met  and  advised  six  UK  Prime  Ministers ,  three  US  Presidents  and  countless  other  interesting  people.  Throughout,  I  read  at  least  a  book  a  week  and  wrote  short  stories  to  keep  me  sane.  It's  only  recently  the  book i’ve  had  in  my  head  for  ten  years  has  been  put  to   paper (special thanks to my little East Neuk coastal town for the year round seaside inspiration),  my  reading  is  being  put  to  good  use  with  my  monthly  reviews,  and  my  short  stories  are  seeing the  light  of  day.
